Dakota™ 20-60x62mm Zoom Spotting Scope
|
For the weekend nature enthusiast, our Dakota spotting scope is one very practical package. It sports multi-coated 62mm prismatic optics and a zoom eyepiece with a magnification range of 20x to 60x. You can start wide then crank up the power to study your subject in detail. Near focus is 23'.
The stylish body — silver-tone with black rubber trim — is internally baffled to minimize glare and maximize contrast. A click-stop collar allows the scope to be rotated for comfortable positioning of the eyepiece.
The metal 1/4"-20 base couples the scope firmly to the mini field tripod that’s included in the package, or to any full-size tripod. Both spotting scope and tripod tuck neatly into the very rugged, molded plastic case, equipped with snap-down latches and built-in carrying handle. There is even room inside for the optional camera adapter, which allows coupling of a 35mm camera body for taking through-the-telescope pictures.
Designed for great views and convenient portability, you just can’t go wrong with the Dakota. Weighs 2 lbs., 3oz. One-year limited warranty. |

Look there! Perched on that tree across the paddock. Is that a Lorikeet or a hawk? Binoculars aren't helpful; this bird is too far away. What you need is the magnifying power of our stout Arcadia Zoom spotting scope. If 20x won't cut it, 60x will! This spotting scope is not only well made, but also falls in one sweet spot of a price range compared to other spotting scopes its size. Look what you get: quality all-aluminum construction, fully coated optics, superior roof-prism design, 20x to 60x continuous zoom ability, and a big 78mm objective lens for bright, high-resolution images. The slide-out glare shield improves contrast on bright days. What's even more unique about this spotting scope is its stay-on, view-through case. You can observe without removing the case. Whether you're checking out Kangaroos, Koalas, or just enjoying a mountain tableau, the Arcadia can get you as up-close as you want! One-year limited warranty. |

This Spotting Scope Zooms in on Quality and Price! Quality spotting scopes have the unfortunate reputation for being expensive, while the less costly models are considered inferior. Orion's Terra 18 - 36x60 Zoom Spotting Scope, however, is designed for daytime observers who don't equate being thrifty with being cheap. The 60mm objective lens is fully coated and large enough to produce crisp, bright images. The magnification range, as the name suggests, provides ample panoramas at 18x (2.3¦) and an in-your-face view at 36x (1.6¦). Birders can track a whooping crane in flight, then, once it perches, zoom in and check out its plumage! The Terra 18 - 36x60 package includes mini-tripod, padded case (which holds both scope and tripod), and a 35mm camera adapter (optional T-rings available). You can easily switch the Terra from its mini-tripod with the built-in 1/4" - 20 adapter plate. One-year limited warranty.
